Why “Seek?”
The word Kainos is seen in the Bible 44 times throughout the New Testament. The Greek word of Kainos relates to our English word New. Some passages using this word are:
2 Corinthians 5:17 – Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
2 Peter 3:13 – Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Revelation 21:5 – And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
I have seen a new thing through Christ Jesus. All things have become new as I look at them through redeemed eyes, only by Christ’s sacrifice.
The same is true about what I create. I do it through the lens of knowing the One who created it all. I am a better creator, designer, and friend because knowing Him.
One thing have I asked of the Lord , that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.
